Shey's Laser & Esthetics History

Hi, I’m Sheylyn Maertz! I am a creative, strong independent woman. I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and after graduation I went to Vancouver for schooling and started my own business back in Saskatchewan. Once I built up my business I decided to move to Airdrie to grow.

I like animals, music, and cheesy foods.

I aspire to grow my business and grow my clientele.

I’m the owner who does all your Esthetic needs! I’m a Certified Makeup Artist, Certified Permanent Makeup Artist. I’m Certified for Laser Hair Removal, Hair Removal needs and am growing!

Laser Hair Removal

Gently removes unwanted hair with the newest Laser machine on the market; GentleMax Pro Plus.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles Reduction

Using the GentleMax Pro Plus we will utilize carbon dioxide lasers that vaporize the water molecules that damage the tissue around it.

Rosacea Reduction

Using the GentleMax Pro Plus we are able to target and treat the blood vessels that cause Rosacea. The machine uses heat to collapse the visible blood vessels so they are no longer visible.

Onychomycosis

Using the GentleMax Pro Plus we can safely remove nail fungus. The treatment works by using the laser to heat up the nail layers.

I went to Shey a couple days ago for a laser hair removal treatment on my legs. I've had laser done before, but it was my first time at Shey's Laser & Esthetics. She was wonderful! Very welcoming and friendly. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. Always making sure the settings were okay so that I did not feel any pain. I will definitely be going back for more treatments!!

I’ve gone multiple times for her laser treatment and have had a wonderful experience. She is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had an amazing experience with Shey’s laser treatment. She is extremely professional, kind, and genuinely understanding, which made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Her shop is absolutely adorable and located in New Horizon Mall, making the whole experience even better. You can truly tell she cares about her clients and the quality of her work. Highly recommend!
